L.wan adventure organizes for a family safari and it is our pleasure that you enjoy this time to the fullest with your children. Camps offer a family tent for you spend with your kids and there are also lots of activities those kids can do at the camp, babysitting is also available.

Your day on a safari will start quite early at about 6:00am this is the best time to view the animals.

Have bush breakfast in a beautiful location. A delicious lunch is offered at the camp followed by a relaxing afternoon. Afternoon tea is offered before departing for an afternoon game drive.

Sundowners at sunset, your guide will find a perfect spot to watch a dramatic time of a day unfold, accompanied by a selection of bitings. As you return to the camp one can spot the nocturnal animals from your game vehicle. Everyday has got different activities.

For East Africa domestic flight a limit of 15kg of luggage per person is recommended, and because laundry services are offered in all the facilities it is better you carry reasonable number if clothes and preferable cotton will be the best material.

Climate in East Africa tends to be hot it is therefore wise to carry a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion preventing you from sun burn. Carry with you mosquito repellent and a binoculars and a camera.

East Africa has the most varied ecosystem and wildlife species in Africa so each area that you visit will offer you a complete different experience with vegetation, landscape and views. You need to plan for a minimum of 6 nights on a Safari so that you can visit at least 2 different ecosystems.

The best time will be the month of June through to October this is the time you get the chance to see the great migration and an excellent game viewing in the Serengeti and the Mara.

However we have also the moths of February and March, the months of April and May tends to have some rain making it inconvenient to watch the animals.

August and the Christmas / New year periods tend to attract the highest safari costs due to the worldwide holiday seasons.

It is advisable that one should secure a booking 6 months prior to the travel date; this will guarantee you the best accommodation both in the hotels and at the camp.
