The Laikipia plateau is located in the central Kenya, best place for honeymooners, celebrating wedding anniversary, exchanging vows. Despite being a non-protected area, wildlife in Laikipia is abundant and total number is higher than any other National park in Kenya. It is home to the world’s only marathon which is run in a game park. Competitors run on the dirty roads within the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.

CAMPS IN THE RESERVE
Lewa Safari Camp
Visit to Lewa are privy to some of the most spectacular wildlife viewing that Kenya has to offer. Lion, Leopard and Jackal thrive on the rich diversity of prey that inhabits the area. The wildlife conservancy is home to the largest concentration of Grevy’s Zebra in the world and its range of habitat attracks diverse birdlife and hosts over 130 Black and White Rhinos.
The camp has 11 Tents, all of which can be laid out as double or twins. At Lewa Safari Camp guests can choose to eat separately, or join other guests and the camp has a daily set menu.
Loisaba Tented Camp
Located in Loisaba conservancy, the camp has a breathtaking view of the tallest Mountain in Kenya, Mount Kenya. Perched on the edge of an escarpment, Loisaba Tented Camp is designed to capitalize on unhindered views across Laikipia’s motted landscape all the way to Mt. Kenya.
